A la Carte Magazine was published for the first time in November 2011. The magazine itself is published three times per year and mailed to residents and businesses with the intent to remind people that there are fabulous dining choices close to home.
The I-680/Hwy. 24 corridors are home to a remarkable number of fine restaurants that embody the ethnic traditions of the local population as well as the creativity of innovative chefs from all over the world.
Articles include information on wines, spirits, and local breweries as well as a special Focus on an Executive Chef that includes favorite recipes and insights. Culinary travel, food, trends and seasonal delights are offered up.
The magazine is a collection of menus and information that can motivate readers to come in and have a meal in a restaurant that they haven’t tried before, or return to an establishment that they have forgotten about.
Included is a Foodie Calendar of events in each issue.
After 19 years publishing the local newspaper for the San Ramon Valley we have had great pleasure with this new magazine as it delves into the best of the area and is enjoyed by all.
Our little team is dedicated to searching out the news and information that will benefit diners in the cities we serve including Danville, Alamo, Lafayette, San Ramon, and Walnut Creek, and bring recognition to the restaurateurs that work so hard every day to provide a quality dining experience to folks here in the Diablo, and San Ramon Valleys.
